Magnum Plastics, Inc. is a complete contract manufacturing company specializing in complex, high precision injection molded components and assemblies in the medical component field.
Founded in 1993 by Dave Miller. Dave saw a need for a manufacturing company to work with medical start-up companies at the beginning of new medical device programs.
The market had large manufacturers to handle the production of approved devices but the engineering and program development was missing from these manufacturers. With this idea, Magnum Plastics, Inc. was born.
In 2000 we relocated to a 20,000 sq. ft. facility with a 5,000 sq. ft. clean room facility.
In 2013 we built an additional 12,000sq-ft building with a second class 100,000 clean room space adjacent to the current location. With the addition of a second clean room we were able to add decorating, assembly and packaging in a clean room environment.
In 2018 Magnum Plastics was acquired by Maruho Hatsujyo Innovations, Inc. MHI was formed in 2014 as the US subsidiary of Osaka-based Maruho CO. Ltd (MHK), a leading Japanese dermatology pharmaceutical company with subsidiaries in Europe and the US.
MHK offers solid experience in the manufacturing of high-precision medical device components and is the second largest medical packaging company in Japan.
